This work explores the idea of control or rather the lack of control over my body I felt (and still feel) growing up. The feeling of falling apart and anxiety in release is present here with the broken pieces and illusion of hands holding itself together. The added barbed wire creates a sense of uncomfortableness not keep someone/something out of the body.
